FMEA AND FAULT TREE ANALYSIS - ENGINEERING RISK ASSESSMENTS

For more complex risk scenrios, such as component failure that could result in a catastrophic failure two relevant risk assessment approaches are FMEA - Failure Mode and Effect Analysis or Fault Tree Analysis, this is also used in accident analysis, the practice provides support in producing FMEA and Fault Tree Analysis for engineering projects.
